Scope
The spotlight of Media classroom will be on more than a few topics to be presented by individuals including educators, presenters and students from different fields. Topics will include:
• Life planning skills (Assertiveness, self-esteem, confidence etc.)
• Life on earth, salvation and redemption, and life after death
• Family abuse and violence and its effects to the economy and leadership
• Proper health, sanitation, and hygienic maintenances and practices
• Sex Education and Self Awareness
• Gambling, drugs abuse, theft, street violence and home run away and youths
• HIV/AIDS awareness in the business world today
• Challenges youths face at school, home, on the road, growth stages and workplaces
• Heartbreaks, confusion and disorganization, Manipulation and deceptions, disappointment and frustrations, loss of loved ones etc.
Our Story
Mindset Classroom
Mindset Class originally was an after –classroom activity which developed to normal class sessions due to its importance in student life and performance growth.
Raising the self-esteem, particularly those disadvantaged and vulnerable backgrounds are a central mission of the extended program.
Mindset sessions have an important role to play enriching the curriculum. Being at school is not just about what you do between 8: 00am and 5:00pm, it’s about acquiring skills to go into society – it’s about widening horizons and showing children they can be a chariot or a scientist.
Problem Statement
The society especially student’s fraternity tends to concentrate on academic performance as well as ignore career opportunities on market, personal health and development, talent development and life planning skills.
Objectives
Main objectives
• To impart students with life planning skills and talent development from different fields such as social, economic, religious, media, health, cultural etc. aspects to invest the labour markets.
• Promote the organisation and school where activities will be carried out because such TV shows work as advertisement and for mobilisation purposes for activities.
Other Objectives
• Invite presenters from different careers and professions.
• Empower people with knowledge in making good hygienic choices.
• Empower students with knowledge in making career choices.
• Promote good health and sanitation through information and related activities.
• Invite and involve pupils, students, the youths and young adults in discussions during and after every activity among other objectives.
